Lisa Tanzer is the President of Katie Couric Media Marketplace, a newly formed entity where content and commerce meet to showcase mission-driven brands, innovative products, and inspiring founders. She was previously the President of The Life is Good Company, a lifestyle apparel brand dedicated to spreading the power of optimism. As the President of Life is Good, Lisa returned the company to growth and profitability while repositioning the brand to attract a younger demographic through a focus on social media, e-commerce, and speed to market. Lisa had a long history with Life as Good as she was previously the Head of Marketing and a founding member of the Board of Directors of its non-profit organization, The Life is Good Kids Foundation, established thirty years ago. Lisa background includes both Fortune 500 companies (Staples, Hasbro, and Gillette) and executive positions at several start-ups with successful exits. Lisa holds a BA from Tufts University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
